The
Old Quarry Society traces its origins to 1981, when plans for transforming
the old limestone quarry behind the officers’ quarters into an outdoor
amphitheater began to take shape. Since then, OQS has hosted and produced
many fine performances at the amphitheater as well as the historic Post
Theater, including nine separate productions of its flagship historical
drama, “The Glory Road.” All
who purchase a ticket to any OQS production are considered “members” of the
Old Quarry Society and are welcome to attend our regular monthly meetings at
the Post Theater on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm. |
